The adapter allows you to reconfigure the buttons on a new Skoda steering wheel. It features touch sensor (KLR) emulation and error filtering for older KLR units (SW19 - 21).

The adapter is connected by integrating into the LIN bus. Power is supplied to terminal 30 (constant positive). The module has a sleep algorithm and consumes less than 20µA (0.00002 A).
Depending on the version, the connection can be made via the Gateway connector(plug and play) or by rewiring the connector of the steering column electronics control unit (J527).
